In 2014, I was approached by a small Ireland-based software company to start a customer service office for their financial compliance software product, MyComplianceOffice.com.
With the opportunity of creating jobs here in Hudson, how could I say no?
I set up an office, hired staff, and helped get them set up. With the assistance of Rob Bujan (1st Ward Alderman), all employees now have excellent health/dental/vision/life insurance.
Today, there are five professional, well-paying jobs with excellent benefits in the City of Hudson, that did not exist prior.
I do see Hudson as having the potential to create similar internet-based customer service-related jobs. As Chair of the Economic Development Committee, I plan to set the committee’s agenda to encourage this job growth.
